Homemade Fabric Masks – NEEDED! South Dakota Network Against Family Violence & Sexual Assault is in need of homemade fabric masks. Their crisis shelters/agencies and other agencies that work with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, etc. are in desperate need of homemade fabric masks for staff and clients. They have over 200 requests from shelters, agencies, and even county court offices. People can send them to South Dakota Network Against Family Violence & Sexual Assault, PO Box 90453, Sioux Falls SD 57109 and then they can ship them out. — LifeScape is asking for the public's help to sew and donate handmade cloth/elastic protective masks. You can use your own materials, or pick up a kit with everything you need to make 30 masks. The kits are at LifeScape Rehabilitation Center, 1020 W. 18th Street, and contain fabric, elastic, and thread, plus the pattern & instructions. The kits are right inside the main door (under the canopy), where our screening staff are stationed. Finished masks can be dropped off at the same spot. Pick-up and drop-off are during regular business hours – weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pull up, pick up/drop off, and drive away!

Treasurer for Kids Against Hunger Sioux Falls Kids Against Hunger is in need of someone to serve as the treasurer of their organization. The work would involve about seven to ten hours of work each month. It would involve making deposits of the money donated when volunteers come into pack. This could be done on a once weekly basis. The treasurer would attend the board of directors meeting every three months. This person could also be elected to the board of directors if they preferred. We have been fortunate to have an experienced person set up the accounting system and transition would be fairly easy for someone with an accounting background.
